How much junk do you have?

Pick the size that looks closest to your pile and see the range we quote most for it. No email, no phone number — just a ballpark before you call.

1. Pick the size that looks closest

Small load — A 5x10 storage unit's worth of stuff, emptied in one trip.

Think of it like picking a storage unit: choose the space your pile would fill, not the number of items. A stacked set of bagged clothes takes less room than one sleeper sofa.

$175–$275

A few furniture pieces, a closet cleanout, a small patio set, yard debris.

Ranges, not a quote. Stairs, weight, and material move the number — a photo gets you one exact price, usually within the hour.

Junk removal in North Texas is priced by volume, not by the hour. Every load is measured in truck space — how much of the trailer your stuff fills — then adjusted for what the items are made of, how heavy they are, and where they're sitting. That's why two jobs with the same number of boxes can land at different prices, and why a photo of the pile gets you a more accurate number than a phone description.

Junked Up Junk Removal runs 20-yard trailers across McKinney, Allen, Frisco, Plano, Anna, Melissa, Prosper, and Celina. One trailer holds roughly six pickup beds of debris, so most household jobs fill a quarter to a half of it. You get one flat price before anything is lifted, and that price doesn't change at the end of the job — no hourly clock, no surprise fuel or disposal charges added after the fact.

Below are the ranges we quote most often in Collin and Denton County. They are ranges, not a quote: mattress counts, stairs, gate widths, and whether a fridge still has refrigerant in it all move the number. Text photos and you'll have an exact, written price back, usually within the hour.

What moves the number

Six things that change a price.

01

Volume

The main driver. Truck space used, not the number of items. A stack of bagged clothes can take less room than one sleeper sofa.

02

Weight

Concrete, dirt, roofing shingles, and tile cost more per square foot than furniture because they're heavy and limited by trailer weight. Heavy loads are quoted after we know the material.

03

Access

Curbside and garage pickups are the simplest. Upstairs, basement, and backyard hauls take extra hands and time, which we build into the flat rate up front.

04

Type of item

Mattresses, tires, electronics, and appliances carry handling or recycling requirements. A hot tub or shed adds demolition labor before anything loads.

05

Disposal route

Recyclable metal, clean yard waste, and furniture that can be donated cost less to get rid of than mixed construction debris, and we pass that difference on.

06

Timing

Same-day and weekend windows are available at the same flat rate. We don't charge a premium for showing up when you actually need us.

Pricing FAQ

Cost questions, answered.

The questions we get most before a job is booked. If yours isn't here, call or text — a real person answers.

How much does junk removal cost in North Texas?

Most single-item pickups run $95–$150, half-trailer loads run $325–$450, and full 20-yard trailer loads run $625–$800. Garage cleanouts usually land between $300 and $700 depending on how much of the trailer the contents fill. Every price is flat-rate and confirmed in writing before we lift anything.

Do you charge by weight or by volume?

By volume, adjusted for material. Truck space sets the base price, then heavy materials like concrete, dirt, and shingles are quoted separately because they're limited by trailer weight limits rather than space. Household furniture, bagged clutter, and yard waste are almost always volume-based.

Is it cheaper to rent a dumpster or hire junk removal?

It depends on your labor and your timeline. A 20-yard dumpster rental in North Texas typically runs $350–$500 for a few days, but you load it yourself and many HOAs and driveways don't allow one overnight. Junk removal costs about the same for a half to full load and includes all the lifting, sweeping, and disposal, usually the same day.

Are there hidden fees or trip charges?

No. The flat rate covers labor, loading, disposal fees, and sweeping the area. The number we text you is the number you pay — no fuel surcharge, no per-pound overage, no charge for stairs that wasn't quoted. The only way a price changes is if the pile is different from the photos.

Do you charge extra for stairs, attics, or heavy items?

Upstairs, basement, and backyard carries are built into the quote, so there's no surprise add-on at the door. Safes, pianos, and other abnormally heavy items get quoted individually after we see a photo, since they may need extra crew or equipment.

Can I get a price without a site visit?

Yes, and that's how most of our jobs are quoted. Text photos of the pile, tell us where it's located and your ZIP code, and we reply with a flat price and a pickup window. Site visits only happen on larger demolition jobs where the structure matters.

Do you offer military, veteran, or senior discounts?

Yes — active duty, veterans, and customers 65 and older get a discount on every job, including dumpster rentals and demolition. Just mention it when you call or note it on the online quote form. No paperwork, no verification hoops.

What items cost more to remove?

Tires (limited quantity), mattresses, appliances with refrigerant, electronics, paint-free construction debris, and anything requiring demolition labor — hot tubs, sheds, decks, and fences. Hazardous waste, chemicals, ammunition, and medical waste we can't take at any price, but we usually know who can.
